Hulk vs. Thanos? You picked the wrong Hulk!
This was not the Gamma Slam you were hoping for...

This is what a Hulk deck should feel like!
As much of a Hulk fan as I am, I don't enjoy playing Hulk in Marvel Champions. So when I want the feel of playing a Hulk that not only smashes in Hero form but thinks and recovers like Banner in Alter-Ego, She-Hulk is just better. And this She-Hulk deck maximizes both of her abilities. If you enjoyed You will NEVER Recover after Reading This! then you will probably like this one!
How to pilot the deck
-
Mulligan priorities are Ready for a Fight, Change of Fortune, Hidden Base, Superhuman Law Division, Quincarrier, Helicarrier, and ESG.
-
Try to play so that every turn you end with both a Ready for a Fight and Practiced Plan on the board. Otherwise you get stuck in Hero form with a game-losing 4 card hand.
-
You want to start each turn in Alter-Ego, use "I object!", use Ready for a Fight to flip up to Hero, use "Do you even lift?" to kill off a weakened minion, draw two cards with Change of Fortune, and start the player phase with 8 cards.
-
Of her 9 events, Legal Practice and Ground Stomp should almost never be played. But the one you should always try to play (as long as you are in Hero form) is Split Personality! In my opinion, it is her best card. It is 4ER for 6 cards, plus another 2 cards at the end of the turn from AE hand size, a recovery of 5 from Dr. Sinclair, 2 Thwart from Superhuman Law Division, a Tough from Hidden Base, a thwart from "I object!", 2 damage from "Do you even lift?" after you flip back up with Ready for a Fight, and drawing two cards from Change of Fortune. Split Personality is incredibly strong in this deck!
-
Get out your card draw (Focused Rages, Change of Fortune, and Avengers Mansion) whenever you can. There is no rush - and allies often take priority for thwarting as you work to stabilize the board - but playing these pulls you ahead in the game until you can eventually set up for the kill.
-
Deft Focus also becomes useful in the midgame to set up your final push with Superhuman Strengths and Limitless Staminas.
-
Endgame is having one or both Superhuman Strengths out along with Iron Fist to stun the Villain so that your Superhuman Strengths don't get discarded. Most games don't end in a big Gamma Slam, but from punching a stunned Villain for 5-7 damage over and over with your six readies. That is usually plenty in solo. Plus it feels good.
