Ok so you read the title and were intrigued. Thinking "Hmm, I haven't seen Dr. Sinclair in an Ant-Man deck yet." Look over at the decklist. Go ahead. Drink it in.

No basic doubles? Everyday Hero? You didn't even remember it was a card, did you? So is this a meme deck? It is not! Alright, I know, a considerable amount of explaining is in order.

Mulligan priorities are Ant-Man's Helmet (or Superpower Training), Nick Fury, Team-Building Exercise, Wasp, and Giant Strength in that order.

This deck has a low cost curve with 24 cards that have 0-1 cost. It also has:

Seven ways to ready! Seven ways to heal! Eight ways to change form! And Ant-Man LOVES to change form!

  1. End your turn by flipping down to Alter-Ego, gain 1HP from Time to Unwind, use Everyday Hero to play Ready for a Fight and gain 1HP, and draw up to six cards.

  2. Discard Ready for a Fight and Practiced Plan to flip up to Giant Form, put RFAF back in your hand, deal a damage with Giant Nuisance, Gain +2 Attack from Giant Strengths, heal 2HP from Ant-Man's Helmet, defend for 3, Counter-Punch for 5 damage, use Pym Particles and gain 2HP.

  3. Flip down to Tiny Form and remove 1 threat with Puny Pest, draw a card with your Helmet, use TBE to play Army of Ants for free and use them to do 1-3 damage, use Pym Particles to play Swarm Tactics which will draw you a card and ready your Hero and change to Giant Form and deal 1 damage and gain +2 Attack from Giant Strengths. Or you could use Hope Summers to grab a Resize to grow big and use Earth's Mightiest Heroes to get the exact same results.

  4. Either way, you now have 7 Attack so use Leading Blow to punch the Villain a couple times, use Preservation to play Giant Stomp and gain another 1HP, then Face the Past to draw more cards before destroying Yellowjacket.

This really started with me challenging myself to use Everyday Hero in a deck but it turned out that there is a lot of synergy here and it has so many fun sequences and interactions. I hope you enjoy it and let me know what you think!

I love this! Great to see Everyday Hero get some use, and I think it really works here!
