Deadbeat and Destitute Drax

I tried desperately find an image to show a skint Drax (that's "got no money" for our non-UK audience), but alas, Google has let me down.

That being said, let's get on with this, shall we? Angry and Green. Sounds familiar. But this one has knives, you know. Whereas with ol' Brucey-baby, you can buff his ATK stat for his "equal to your ATK" cards come up, doing devastating damage without doing any basic attacks, Drax is quite the opposite. You want to buff up his basic attacks as much as possible.

The cost curve on this looks pretty mad, with a 4 hand size, we want to go as cheap as possible. So much so in fact, I feel like I've negotiated like a true Del-Boy. Another British reference there.

Upgrades

14 hit points is lovely, but let's buff that up to 17 with Endurance shall we? Combat Training and his own Drax's Knife bumps us up to 3 ATK base. The 2 x Brute Force's can stack and if timing allows, they can kick in for some of the Events. Battle Fury keeps you coming back and Blood Rage helps with some card draw.

Supports

Nice and simple here, Knowhere and Hall of Heroes for card draw, Crew Quarters for extra healing. Done.

Allies

Angela because you fancy a fight and want to get counters on Hall of Heroes, Ironheart for card draw and Cosmo (and Angela) so Knowhere gives you card draw too.

Events

So, here's where we want to ready up, slash, ready up, slash etc.

Limitless Stamina to this end. Lovely. Mean Swing for zero cost suddenly gives you 6 ATK minimum, Skilled Strike for zero cost and 5 ATK, Smash the Problem gives a minimum of 3 threat removal - 4 or 5 if you happen to have Brute Force's stacked and Moment of Triumph to keep you healthy.

And that's it. Oh, you'll notice, no double resource cards. You don't need them!

Cheap, cheerful and hopefully, pretty catastrophic. In a good way.
