USE (Superpower Training FOR THIS DECK. REMOVE TEAM TRAINING FOR IT (I just don't want to take it out of my Iceman all basic deck)
I thought I would try out a new type of deck today. I usually hate leadership. I find the cards boring and redundant but this deck is an exception.
What would happen if you used CyclopsN in combination with Shoulder Cannon.
Just think about it. Your rushing for Shoulder Cannon. With Superpower Training and mulligans. Then you get in Cyclops with Call for Backup or Suit Up
This means that each instance of damage you do on the villain gets boosted by 1. So Shoulder Cannon gets boosted from 6 damage from all 5 ammunition counters to 12. and if you use both your Gauntlet Gun and 2 uses of Munitions Bunker (one from the turn you flipped down and the next from when you flipped up) and add the 5 ammo counters from locked and loaded. That does about 22 DAMAGE IN 1 TURN.
Thats not even the craziest part. If you do everything correctly. By getting the hand of 2x Repulsor Beam 2x Full Auto and any 2 combination of Energy Strength Genius With these cards in play. Missile Launcher Shoulder Cannon 2x Gauntlet Gun Munitions Bunker While using your basic activation to attack
You will have done 31 damage in 1 turn. That is without factoring the excess ammo counters you have for shoulder cannon to use. Or any allies you have to attack. or any cards being used other than those.
I will say it is basically impossible to do that amount because you need basically a perfect hand and setup that is extremely end game. But you can still do tons of damage (Like anywhere from 12-20) from just 1 use of cyclops.
This is absolutely insane burst damage for a setup you can build fast. All you really need is a Shoulder Cannon, a Repulsor Beam or 2 and a Munitions Bunker with 1 or 2 turns of ammo on it and Oh no where did taskmaster go.
Aside from this absolutely broken combo the rest of this deck covers the natural weaknesses. So you are flipping down alot for Munitions Bunker and for basic things like healing and a 6 hand size. The threat stacks up alot. Well we are leadership and we have allies to keep up with that.
We also have alot of ways to get the cards we want. Kaluu can search for events like Repulsor Beam and Full Auto that are your main damage options along with Shoulder Cannon
So this deck is massive burst damage with ways to get the cards you want to let the game fall into place in your favor. Winning in just a couple turns is possible with the right hand.
