I have made this deck with the Core Set and the Next Evolution expansion in my hands. The deck seems really good and solid and from there I just made changes thinking in improving the deck.

ALLIES

By the Psylocke deck I got Domino. She is a very interesting ally thanks to her ability: swap a card from the hand with the top one of the deck. I (more usually than i would want to) got hands with cards like Digging Deep or the White Fox, cards that I want to get by discarding them from the top of the deck via Magneto's Magnetic Pull. Domino gives the chance to put one of these cards again at the top so NEXT I can play Magnetic Pull and get them to the hand/field and draw an extra card (that was the previous card on the top of the deck. Some other times I just use it to maybe have luck and get another card more useful in that moment than others in my hand. Without her I was playing with Cyclops from Magneto's deck.

I prefer Kid Omega because of the base stats and the polivalence of the resource spended ( for damage or for threat) but Squirrel Girl is a pretty good option too.

While I haven't got Professor X, so Nick Fury will do some other interesting things instead.

Lockjaw is an extra so my hand will never by dead with him in the discard pile.

Once we have Children of the Atom in play Phoenix will be able to heal and get ready any of our allies.

I like M because I can finish off some elite minions than evade my wombo combo of Wrapped in Metal and Magnetic Missile.

Finally, with White Queen I feel more useful to the party: while I have Magneto's Helmet, I can free my allies from the confusion and stun states and also take away annoying tough status from bosses and minions.

EVENTS

Now that I have access to Thor's deck I have a hard decision between "You Got This!" and Teamwork. I will make a situation: I have used Magnetic Pull and have either of those cards in hand and Kid Omega up with a damage and Magneto's Cape in the field.

  • "You got this!": First, I attack with Magneto to the boss to deal 2 damage. Then, I need to trash one resource from my hand to play itand discard Kid Omega to ready Magneto and deal another 4 damage to the boss to ready Magneto again with the Cape adn add 2 more, for a total of 8 damages.
  • Teamwork: I attack with Magneto to the boss to deal 2 damages and play Teamwork, so I exhaust Kid Omega and add 2 more damage to that attack. Then ready magneto with his Cape and deal 2 extra damage, a total of 6 damages. BUT I still have Kid Omega alive, so he can serve as a shield for the next attack against me (like a tough status) at a risk that some triggered card that deals 1 damage to all my characters can KO him and then be left without the extra damage nor his shield. The next round I could do the same play with Kid Omega and another Teamwork or even play Noble Sacrifice and add more value to Teamwork by healing me and the get a real tough card status. I prefer this one.

With Make the Call (one of the strongest cards in this deck my opinion) l am able to play discarded allies paying its costs so I never run with a dead hand and I have no problem using allies as resources or discarding them with Magnetic Pull. I would love to change this car with Mutant Mayhem but still not the time.

Besides his own events, which I love from the bottom of my heart, I wear a copy of Squared Off. Mostly to have a chance to use the wombo combo of Wrapped in Metal and Magnetic Missile and have another resource in the deck.

PLAYER SIDE SCHEMES

I choose Build Support, Superpower Training and Call for Backup to have some insurance in case really important card like Asteroid M or any of my own upgrades got in the discard pile and I couldnĀ“t retrieve them or simply to accelerate my field by getting them faster. An ally free always is good too.

RESOURCES

I think that Digging Deep is a high recommended card in this deck by giving the chance to get more resources while playing Magnetic Pull. It can change drastically your options and plays.

SUPPORTS

What can I say of Asteroid M, only good things.

I have already spoken of Children of the Atom in the Allies section. But it has more sense while Uncanny X-Force is in play. My allies become even more useful if they remove threat from a secondary plan and more survaivability.

UPGRADES

I wear only one copy of Deft Focus, is strong but not extremely necessary.

Besides my own upgrade cards I added Mission Leader to have a little bit of draw power.

TO THE FUTURE

As I said in this notes, I hope to add Mutant Mayhem from Jubilee's deck and Professor X from Gambit,

I would very glad to change Sunspot with Deathlok to the deck with the help of Cyclop's. From there I would take 2 copies of Danger Room Training in order to improve Deathlock's attack, thwart and endurance in the moment I play him. I could, for example, attack with 3 damages at the cost of only one consequential damage, which I could heal with Game Time and ready Deathlock again. I doubt if simply add this cards or maybe change them with Noble Sacrifice and Squared Off.

I have in mind also the expansion Age of Apocalypse to add Marrow and maybe Cable in exchange of White Queen and probably White Fox. I would make this change with no doubts if I was to play solo.

The jewel of the crown would be to add Utopia in order to increase or ally limit by 1 and ready or Hero once an ally enters the field (anyone is ok if you have Children of the Atom).
