Thor Aggression - Cheap, Thwarty, Resourceful

This deck is meant for solo play. It’s Thor, so it’s still not super powerful, but it works and it’s fun.

I leaned into solving Thor’s substantial resource problem by running a huge number of cheap cards (14 cards are 0-cost, 5 cards are 1-cost) and a large number of resource generating cards (Helicarrier, Avengers Mansion, x3 Enhanced Reflexes).

I also leaned into solving Thor’s small thwart problem by emphasizing thwarty allies, Emergency, and Chase Them Down (which coupled with Defender of the Nine Realms can remove 5 threat at 0-cost).

If you don’t have Ms. Marvel, you could switch out Enhanced Reflexes for Enhanced Physique, but the energy resource can be useful for Lightning Strike. You can also switch out Lockjaw for another ally like Hercules but Lockjaw’s ability to be played from the discard pile is useful when you have a handful of cheap cards and nothing on which to spend resources, plus he can thwart.
