KEY CONCEPTS

One of the intents in this deck is to make sure Hercules can complete his Labors as quick as he can. I've found that Savage Strike is great for this. Coupled with either Limitless Stamina or Son of Zeus, it will give Hercules 12ATK - enough to Defeat the Hydra or Embody Pathos. Remember - Savage Strike also gives you piercing, so any minion with tough is not a problem.

Use Hercules to take the hit as much as you can - once you start getting your Labors complete, you'll also get more hp. His upgrade Prince of Power also is very handy in recovering from damage.

DESIGN

This is an early deck of Hercules that I built with the intent on just leaning into all out damage. Having said that, predominantly built for solo, it needs to address threat to some capacity, as well address any minion engagement.

Modifiers to Hercules' base ATK as wellas his health have been added as these are his two main strengths.

Combat Training, Aggressive Conditioning and Warrior Skill have all been included for this exact reason.

Herc's allies have all been included to do a particular job and to assist Herc in doing what he does best - and that is to pound.

Bug - takes advantage of Herc using bacis attacks, to heal every time. Use him to thwart;

Hulk - used to chump block mostly, but the odds are in your favour with plenty of physical resources in the deck...so if you need to, unleash Hulk and let him SMASH!

Machine Man - very handy ally as he can thwart up to 4THWT if you give him enough resources..this should happen mid-late game when Herc becomes rich;

Nick Fury, Sr. - Nick can burst thwart with his forced response and basic action (i.e thwart for 5THW) - also handy to block to give Herc a little break;

She-Hulk - Good thwarter and hits harder the more damage is inflicted on her. Thwart once, then punch....then use her on her last activation for either smashing, thwarting or blocking;

Yellow Jacket - Good thwarter and can find one of Herc's upgrades frrom the deck to put on table asap

The event cards have already been mentioned in Key Concepts, with just Toe to Toe left to mention. This is a flexible attack event and can be swapped out with any other that would better suit the scenario you play. Here, it's a cheap way to deal alot of damage to a minion (ideally)...with the use of Herc's Helm to mitigate damage back to Herc.

If there are many guards in the scenario, consider Outta My Way!; if there are many low health minions, you may use Relentless Assault instead etc.

RECOMMENDATIONS

As mentioned, target a Labor from the start and actively look to mulligan for Savage Strike and Limitless Stamina. Even if you get Protect Humanity, it will still be early days - full hp - and you'll get Amadeus Cho for free! - so just patiently defend for him for your frist Labor.

Low priorities are Warrior Skill, Avengers Compound, Aggressive Stance, Battle Fury and Ready to Rumble . Play them only if it's convenient, to thin your deck.
