Hercules flexes Allies to accomplish his Labors, and increases his "Hand Size" with Amadeus Cho. He came with a Leadership precon, but I didn't like it. So I reworked it.

FifouChicken already published a great Hercules Leadership rework Captain Greece that put out some pretty big numbers, but those allies were too rich for my blood.

Would You Stand Up And Walk Out On Me?

  • originally I ran this with Suit Up, but I found I wasn't playing it, even on turn 1. It just didn't really accelerate the build for me. I could usually get an ally in the opening hand, and since Amadeus Cho gets tutored for free with Protect Humanity, it didn't make sense to spend so many resources to put him into play that early.
  • I tried out "You Got This!", but in addition to one additional cost (when compared to Teamwork), you must discard the ally. I had more success with keeping the Avengers allies around with
  • I tried it with an additional copy of Clarity of Purpose to get it on Herc fast, and put the extra on Amadeus Cho... but by the time I had them both out I didn't need them anymore (most of the events are cheap, so I also didn't include Quincarrier or Helicarrier either).
  • I didn't try this with Squared Off and more expensive Avengers allies like Goliath or Captain Marvel or Giant-Man or Black Panther. This might work, since Hercules loves minions to kill... but I worried it would be hard to get them into play early, locking Hercules out of Teamwork and Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Hope you all give it a try and enjoy Herc in Leadership again. Let me know if you have any thoughts or suggestions!
