Dedicated to the 1985 movie Spies Like Us. Deck title taken from that quote in the movie. Added Med Lab, because Strange IS a Doctor.

Deck is flexible but built around: (1) Getting Domino in play to aid in casting Magic Blast (2) Having diverse allies in play to utilize Strength in Diversity.

Try to get Wongand Domino to stay in play. Inspiring Presence heals and readies them. United We Stand heals. Wong can heal and/or manipulate the Invocation deck, or both. This helps reduce the impact of damage impact of Bloodgem. Domino can switch a card in hand with top card of deck. This plays into the power of Magic Blast. There are five resource cards in the deck other than Domino herself.

All other allies all primarily for there for enter play abilities and for Strength in Diversity. After that they are used as clump blockers (targets for Regroup) or being defeated to consequential damage (targets for Med Lab). Allies can come back into play through Regroup, Med Lab, & Slingshot’s ability.

The Eye of Agamotto of & Bloodgem allow flexibility paying for Slingshot and Kid Omega’s respective abilities.

There are a total of 13 character traits in the deck, although a maximum of 11 can be in play at any given time due to the four ally maximum. It seems reasonable to assume you can easily have 7+ at any given time for Strength in Diversity. This expectation increases in multi-player.

Spiritual Meditation allows deck filtration, helping with ally selection and resource icons for Domino’s ability combo with Magic Blast.

Possible additions: a third Spiritual Meditation, a third Regroup, Rapid Response, Make the Call, Kaluu & Team Training. Summoning Spell & Call for Backup are probably not worth it given the low cost of allies.

Possible cuts: United We Stand, Spiritual Meditation, Bloodgem, one Strength in Diversity, & The Power of Leadership.

We use a house rule of dealing the Dr. Strange player an encounter card each time he goes through the Invocation deck for balance.

Love this. Quality (if niche) reference to a great comedy. Domino into Magic Blast is a winning move. I think when I do this, I'm going to lean more into Band Together and Strength In Numbers instead of Strength in Diversity.

But Med Lab and Regroup are great additions. Solid deck!
