10 Flavors of Spider-Woman - Brute Force (Con of Heroes)

For Con of Heroes 2025, there were three prevailing themes spoiled: Web-Warriors, S.H.I.E.L.D, and Aerial. After the previous year I was really inspired to bring a single hero in every aspect. Spider-Woman happened to fit the themes and is my favorite hero. So I present the 10 Flavors of Spider-Woman

Brute Force

As part of the Living Card Games Discord Server, there is a channel for Deck Factory. In this channel a card is presented for building a deck around. https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/23537/brute-force-spider-woman-1.0. This is my latest iteration of that deck.

Goal 1

Get out Combat Training and Brute Force. Do not use your basic ATK. THW if you have an activation, otherwise defend.

Goal 2

Get out a Guardian ally: Starhawk or Martyr. These are to combine with Spider-Woman for As One!

Goal 3

Build up your defenses with Armored Vest, Judoka Skill, and Northstar. This will save you HP while you defend to Counter-Punch.

Goal 4

As One!, Quick Strike, and Counter-Punch enemies to defeat.

Reflections

I've done two 9 damage Counter-Punch during a single defense. It is really satisfying when built. Being able to support the board with THW and her amazing kit while you get there makes you feel less useless while building. Also, Brute Force being so cheap helps to play other cards and get the stat boost.
