If playing Solo: -Helicarrier +Quincarrier & -Mission Leader +The Triskelion or Go Down Swinging
Probably not the best deck versus Stalwart/Steady villains, but was able to beat expert Klaw with ease.
Concept: Play mostly 0-1 cost cards for stat boosts to help you do what's needed in terms of attacking/thwarting while setting up your economy. Even your allies are only 0-2 cost with Squared Off. You will have a lot of resource generators that are generally pretty cheap. Status cards, healing/defending, Coulson, and flipping down will help you stay alive. Between stat boosts, efficient cards, and villain shut down, you can achieve victory!
Combos/Strategy
-Black Panther can, ideally hold Pheromones (broken card against non-steady/stalwart villains) or Squared Off (for when you have an ally in hand). Though, Teamwork isn't bad as it's basically a free 2 Thwart or usually 2-4 Damage. Team Training also means he can potentially activate twice before chump blocking.
-Agent Coulson + Rapid Response. Pretty known combo to allow you to chump black and thwart 2 every round for 2 resources. Well, until you're ready to save Rapid response for someone else.
-Squared Off is a 0-cost card to boost your stats and hopefully play a 0-cost Justice ally for 2 stat boosts with Spider-Woman. It will help pay for your expensive allies. Speed is good because he can thwart 4 or attack 4 in a single round, which can be good for the minion you put in play or if you put a side scheme in play via One Way or Another. Wraith is pretty cheap and allows for 3 bonus damage from Teamwork, but can swing for 3 in a pinch. Giant-Man is more expensive similar but a beefier version of Wraith. I have toyed with Beta Ray Bill, but Spider-Woman has very little issue with threat getting out of control in this build. The new 'M' Leadership X-Man ally was considered, but it would really suck to reveal a minion you couldn't auto-defeat. I'd rather have 3 - 4 damage to combine with Spider-Woman's 2 - 5 damage. If you are in alter-ego, you can check the encounter deck to see if you want to get rid of the card via Squared OffBe mindful that it could be a boost or encounter card depending on whether the villain is stunned or not.
-One Way or Another will get you a side scheme. Three extra cards makes it more likely that you will have Squared Off and an ally in hand. It makes you more likely to play more than 2 aspect cards for additional stat boosts. The side scheme might be able to be taken out immediately via Overwatch on the main scheme. You might be able to attach Chance Encounter to find yourself an ally (like Agent Coulson if you haven't found him yet or Black Panther to find another event to potentially play). Also when defeating the side scheme, you can draw cards via Mission Leader and Skilled Investigator.
-Making an Entrance + Spider-Woman stat boosts + Teamwork means you can usually be thwarting for 6 - 7 and likely healing 2 HP in the process. The healing from this and Contaminant Immunity is good for the damage you'll be taking from Clarity of Purpose. Be sure to use Clarity of Purpose before Contaminant Immunity.
-Build Support is usually cleared easily to find you a Helicarrier. Though, since this deck usually has an over abundance of thwarting, I've been considering replacing this with Specialized Training (I'd go with the attack versions due to the Squared Off's. Throughout this post, I've mentioned an overabundance of thwarting. That said, that was due to testing this deck solo. I think the thwarting will be more "adequate" in multiplayer... so I'm sticking with Build Support for the posting of this deck.
