This deck is really built around one core idea: assemble your X-Men as honorary Guardians and then set them loose with Blaze of Glory.
With the help of Forge and some side schemes, we aim to get our supports (like Uncanny X-Men, Team Training and Utopia) and upgrades (namely Leader of the Guardians) online as quickly as possible, flood the board with our already overpowered allies and then shatter the villain's hopes and dreams with Cyclops and Blaze of Glory. If you want to get really cute, you can even flip down to alter-ego at the end of a Blaze turn and not have to take the damage (since all your characters will no longer be Guardians). Pretty sneaky!
-Team Training + Uncanny X-Men means all our allies will have +2 HP
-Leader of the Guardians gives them each +1 THW (even more help clearing out player side schemes, if necessary)
-Utopia + Knowhere gives us the potential for an extra card and an extra ready each turn
-Cyclops + Blaze of Glory equals big pain for the villain
-Triage and Phoenix help keep our allies healthy and coming back for more, while Pixie, Make the Call and Call for Backup can help us bring them back online when they do fall
I wonder if you could get another player to put Honorary X-Men on you so you can trigger 'To Me, My X-Men' and get those allies out!
