This is a slimmed down version of the deck that retains the same focus as the original version but is closer to the optimal deck size of 40 cards. It should ensure more and quicker draws of , enable us to reshuffle once we've pulled all our tactic upgrades, and generally be more consistent because we're drawing the critical cards sooner.
Updated in January 2023 to include allies from Gambit and Rogue's packs. Bishop, Dazzler, and Armor seem like great value and have bumped some marginal allies like Nightcrawler.
Updated again in April 2024 to add Legion and Triage instead of Storm and Bishop. Legion is another Psionic ally to help us with Cerebro activation (now we have 5 of those!) and Triage is a fantastic new X-Men ally that heals whoever we want on entering play.
Updated in May 2024 to add Beak, who is absolutely amazing in this deck, frequently removing 4-5 threat on entering play. I would think seriously about adding Knowhere if someone at the table is running Build Support. Cyke can make incredible use out of the 6 ally limit Knowhere, The Triskelion, and Utopia offer. I consider that a sideboard card.
