The fourth deck in my unusual X-Force deck series! Why is it unusual?

Mostly because we're dedicated entirely to multi-target attack cards - cards where we can bounce damage to different targets like chain lightning! Psionic stuff? Eh. Too usual. We'll add Cerebro and Professor X because it would be rude not to, but otherwise we're fully focused on damaging multiple enemies at once!

Flurry of Blades, One by One and Melee are our main cards. Our goal? Let no minion survive. (And yes, this is a multiplayer deck!)

So, Psylocke likes to keep flipping forms. This means that in at least 50% of your turns, you will have a hand size of 4. This gives us a relatively lower chance to find an attack card than most heroes.

However...

...By putting EVERY multi-target attack card that we can into our deck, and by focusing on boosting their damage with the likes of Aggressive Energy, Warrior Skill and Honed Technique, as long as we draw into ONE attack? We can usually take down TWO enemies. And that's pretty awesome. And all before we consider our potential 3 ATK stat with piercing.

Find and play TWO attacks? Now that's a certified feast for Hall of Heroes.

Overview:

  • Archetype: Multi-Target / Honed Technique
  • Difficulty: Medium
  • Play Style: Average Tempo
  • Recommended Player Count: 3-4 Player (2-player against minion-heavy scenarios is also fine!)
  • Ideal Aspect Partner: Justice

Mulligan Priorities:

Simple Guide to Success:

  1. Psylocke is filthy rich as long as you keep flipping every turn you can! The bigger hand size will also help us find attack cards more reliably. (Just contribute to threat removal/confuses when necessary!)

  2. The boosts from Aggressive Energy, Warrior Skill and Honed Technique work exactly how you hope they do. For example, One by One will deal 4+ damage, and if that defeats an enemy, it deals 4+ again somewhere!

  3. Note that Flurry of Blades doesn't work with Honed Technique since it's not an Aggression card.

  4. Note that, unlike One By One or Melee, Flurry of Blades can puts its multiple instances of damage all on the same target or all on different targets. It's super versatile and you should use that to your advantage.

  5. Don't be afraid to use Psylocke's alter-ego action to shuffle Flurry of Blades back into your deck. Especially if you're overwhelmed by minions or pushing to end the game.

  6. Honed Technique and Warrior Skill are SKILL cards, so you can grab them with Training Regimen. Use this to help set Honed up fast, and also to pull the spare Honed Technique out of your deck when convenient to spend it - you don't want to risk drawing it in hero form from here on if you can help it.

  7. Cerebro mainly exists to grab Professor X who we can cycle back into our deck whenever with Psylocke's alter-ego ability. However, it's easy to forget Sunfire and Forge are also X-Men you can grab with Cerebro! Just remember you can't shuffle them in with your alter-ego ability. Summoning Sunfire is exceptional for attachment removal, and either make a great extra resource if you need to stretch for something instead of playing the good Professor.

  8. Hall of Heroes goes very well with this deck. Use it for huge turns, and to find Aggressive Energy in the same hand as multi-target damage cards! You can even spend your entire hand and one psi-weapon, then flip down and trigger the Hall along with Cerebro to play Professor X from nothing.

And that about does it! Thanks for reading.

Good luck and have fun!

This looks great. I love Psylocke and really enjoy her in Aggression so I'll definitely be giving this a shot

@Castlefrank47 Nice, I'm a huge fan of Psylocke too - she's my joint favorite X-Force hero! Good luck!

I play two handed solo primarily. This deck felt really nice with build protection, and jack of all leadership.

Oh man! Thank you. I’d been tinkering with an aggression Psylocke for Con of Heroes but never found one I loved in multiplayer. I’m going to give this a test drive in the next few weeks! Thank you. Love your work, love your channels. Keep it up!
