Allies are often reduced to chump blockers, but this deck makes them worthy.

With Thor’s high hp pool, he can tank a few hits with no worry. Rather than just blocking with low cost Allies, we can also turn them into respectable damage via Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

An issue can arise where you have too many of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and not enough allies. That’s where Command Center comes in. You can potentially use just one ally to play all three copies of EMH, provided you have both centers out. It also gives you the freedom use their own atk or thw, and then ready them to let Thor show them how it’s done.

Speaking of Thor’s high health pool, Clarity of Purpose is always amazing, but especially for a hero with a potential of 22hp. That plus Team-Building Exercise shore up any negative feelings of a smaller hand size. TBE has 14 targets in this deck. Deft Focus has 8, but the ability to make Hammer Throw 2 cost, or 1 even with CoP, can be all the difference. It also makes Limitless Stamina “free” when you can use it.

This deck is a steady stream of damage, often swinging for double digits, or close to it every turn. General gameplan should be getting an ally or two out and begin building your board, and then when you draw up, determine if you can afford losing an ally or just need to take the brunt of the attack. You should try to have at least one ally on the table, or access to an ally to optimize your readies. Thor also has great REC so if you need to flip down you’ll be back up in no time.

This build also packs plenty of Energy to Lightning Strike. Time to drop the hammer.
