Moon Knight is sooooo good with Thor all thanks to Cameo. He also happens to be one of my favorite Marvel characters, so of course I'll play him any chance I get. But I'm tired of Tigra!
Ok, we’ve established that Moon Knight rules. So, now let’s get some more value.
We want allies with ETB effects (aka “enter-the-battlefield” effects, as the Magic: the Gathering nerd in me will never die). We want value and effects on a stick. I’m sure you could change up the ally roster and still be effective, but I particularly like Cyclops (he helps push the final damage through to off the villain), Maria Hill(especially in multiplayer), and Mockingbird (stun stun stun!).
Ok, and Nick Fury probably has the best ETB effects in the game, so we have to play him!
The best feeling is to use Suit Up on turn one, grab Moon Knight and Reinforced Suit, use suit to play Mr. Knight and draw two. Tasty!
I’m fairly new to Marvel Champions, so I welcome feedback to improve the deck. This is definitely a first draft :)
I considered adding more energy resources to fuel sweet Lightning Strikes, but decided against it because I could find applicable cards in my collection. Like I said, suggestions welcome! Thanks all!
I was actually building a Moon Knight Thor deck myself so great timing! Some cards I was considering and look like good fits in your deck:
Kid Omega: Enters play Lightning Strike, which actually hits all enemies not just the ones engaged with you. You should always have a Lightning resource with 1 of the 2 God of Thunder. Also an energy resource!
Hugin & Munin: Searches a Minion, great for Thor. And readies characters, since your running a lot of allies you do not want to keep in play for long some extra activitions in the turn you summon this card helps getting them of the board. Energy resource aswell.
Slingshot: God of Thunder target again. You can keep playing slingshot with your resource generators and when your pushing for game you can use her as a resource. Since she returns to hand at the end of the player phase you will already have drawn up to your hand size, making her an extra card. Don't forget you can play her under any player's control if you don't have the space for an ally this turn. Once again an energy resource!
Some other cards I generally consider running with Thor are Avengers Mansion and Squared Off. Although with the amount of minion summoning this deck does Avengers Mansion is probably overkill.
