Let's take a minute to think about WHO Iron-Man really is.
"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist"? No, Iron-Man is an AURA FARMER. This is why I put the super thematic card Making an Entrance
This deck has 0 defense value. You heal by aura farming.
In all seriousness though. This deck's goal is to be as thematic as possible while still being viable for play.
Being a thematic deck, I don't put much allies as meatshields, only putting those that have a semblance of theme. Quake is there as a Shield agent beisde Tony, I wanted so badly to put in Agent Coulson, but I couldn't find preparation cards that have any use for this.
Spider-Man is just a purely theme choice for me, its absolutely useless for this deck, lol.
Iron-Man flies a lot. So this deck revolves around being aerial as much as you can. That's why our priority cards are Ingenuity and Rocket Boots. Pepper Potts\ and Stark Tower also help a lot for building up.
Essentially you'd be going back and forth from alter-ego and hero form, building the suit in alter ego, and letting out a Repulsor Blast or two in hero form if you haven't built yet.
You have no problem being in alter-ego since... you're justice And also you have Foiled! to keep that main scheme from popping off.
Once you have 6 tech upgrades in play, you can just flip to hero mode and fly and do a buncha stuff. Repulsor Beam would usually land you 5 damage per cast, having ingenuity as a feeder for rocket boots ensures you have aerial all the time, and can deal 8 damage with Supersonic Punch, deal 4 damage with Powered Gauntlets and remove schemes from everywhere. Flight doesn't give you anything for defense though.
Take hits to the face, go back to stark tower and cry to mama pepper potts to recover and just rinse and repeat.
Even Aura Farmers need rest.
