A few side board cards to consider before we begin our exploration of this deck:

3x Clear the Area to replace our "Think Fast!" copies, against Stalwart and some Steady villains.

1x Under Surveillance for the same reason. Probably remove a Sidearm or two for it, depending on whether you're performing other adjustments.

In terms of gameplay, there is a lot going on here. Nebula is already a Hero that requires more finesse and planning to pilot well than the average character, but this deck also emphasizes this more than some. In the future I will edit, format and flesh out this guide properly, and perhaps make a short video about it. This wall of text section in the meantime is just for people on Reddit who might be curious about the deck and this specific playstyle.

The essence of this deck is that it plays almost like a Leadership deck, but is definitely not one.

Nebula is a pure flipper Hero, she wants to flip ALMOST every turn, unless doing so is so obviously going to spell catastrophe, or if you end up with that Tough status card that didn't get used last turn. The strong Guardian allies present in this deck will be a great help in helping stabilizing the board state, so that Nebula isn't too overwhelmed from her constant flipping.

Knowhere will bring us to a 4 Allies limit, which is great for us and will often be reached during a session. Sidearm is excellent on Drax and Venom (an Ally that in my opinion is underappreciated within the Guardian trait in Justice). Martinex, Rocket Raccoon and Gamora can all make pretty good use of it as well. Cosmo is only here to block truly, but Eros is another very interesting cheap ally. Great for the cost, he may use that THW a second time or block for you, but he probably does his best work within a Nebula deck. She can easily Ressource match for the ability. and it will happen more often than you may think that you'll be happy to be able to flip and ignore that Confused minion for a turn. Maybe next turn one of your Techniques will lower damage taken from this minion, or Retaliate against them, or both. It opens options of timing, and Nebula is ALL about proper timing.

Now a quick word about drawing. Nebula is a drawing monster. You want to trigger her Alter Ego Ability as often as you can, never miss an opportunity to do so. Forget about drawing too fast or getting extra Encounter Cards, it doesn't matter. Draw, draw, draw. Play those Techniques that are wanted for next turn and draw. Avengers Mansion will also draw for you, as well as Knowhere and Skilled Investigator. Something about Knowhere however is that some of your allies only are accessible when you have your Guardian trait, and Martinex is only 2 cost when you're a Guardian, so Honorary Guardian is very good here, and slightly helps with Nebula's lackluster HP pool. It opens up plays where you may not have drawn a Technique yet, maybe you flip to Alter Ego, play a Guardian Ally, draw a card and perhaps that's your Technique ? If so. play it and draw 2 more. It's important to plan your sequence of card plays and spending with Nebula to maximize her options for the turn. That's true of almost everything she will play in a turn. Techniques, Allies, Responses. She's very sensitive to things being played in the right order.

And speaking of drawing, yes, I use 41 cards here ! She can afford to, but you don't have to. Cull one Sidearm if desired, it won't break anything.

The Power in All of Us also deserves its own section. It's here to help setup with your support cards, of course, like in most decks that use it. But here, it will also keep paying for your Basic Allies all game. That's not all however, here's a lesser known little trick about PiaoU: It can be used to pay for the C.I.T.T ability to ready a Guardian character, something that has many potential applications within this deck. As such, unlike in other PiaoU decks, where it becomes a bit of a dead draw in the late game, the card is absolutely never wasted here. Every turn you draw it is assured to be a big round, and you'll actually have to decide how to best use it sometimes, pay an Ally again, ready up, use its Wild Ressource for something urgent ? So powerful and versatile, very underrated combo. And yes, I promise that it works this way, it's legal combo that has been ruled for. :)

Hopefully soon I can clean this up a bit, add a video for specific gameplay examples and powerful combos that aren't obvious with Nebula, but for the time being it's all I had time to type ! Good luck to everyone :) And give my favorite girl a chance !! It will take a few games to start seeing all of her options, she's an unusual character that rewards intimate knowledge of her kit.
