In case the name reference was missed...

Crimson Dawn

This is the Angel Sidekick deck I have used with good success. Kept mentioning it, so guess I better post it. Nothing revolutionary. Typical Sidekick deck.

Get Psylocke out using Suit Up, and make her your Sidekick.

Superpower Training fetches Techno-Organic Wings.

Use Mutant Education and Worthington Industries to keep Metamorphosis in your deck.

Have fun with many activations, and dancing through forms.

Options:

X-Gene and Uncanny X-Force are optional. For instance. If you know your villain has nasty attachments, run Vivian instead of Marrow, which means take out Uncanny X-Force and put in Soaring Acrobatics.

Removing the copy of Soaring Hearts doesn't hurt much.

You can add in more player side schemes. Build Support, Call for Backup, and Rally the Troops all work. Or remove Superpower Training.

Looks great! I like that you put suit up, Uncanny, and the team- up in. Big fan of seeing those here. Have you considered running Clarity of Purpose? You can fetch it with Suit Up, and then just put it on your hero.

Sidekick angel looks like a lot of fun!

This is extremely similar to the one I run when I play Angel Sidekick. One of my favorite heroes for the Sidekick decks, looks really good!

@HeroicSkeleton , I know others have had great luck with Clarity of purpose... but it didn't click with me. Yet. You are 100% on using it for Alternate target for Suit up. Guess I need to try it here!

@Daring Lime Thanks! Angel Sidekick is second only to X-23 in for the ones i have tried. X-23 is INSANE with it. Deadpool is my #3, but he gets pretty chaotic even in Leadership. I don't pilot it well.

@Castlefrank47 Thanks! I am curious to see yours. Already learning i should try Clarity of Purpose, wondering what other tricks you might bring.

Note- added an image to the write up for people who might not get the comic book reference. I remember this story arch well. Right after Sabretooth tricked Boomer into letting him free... and then he tore up the X-Men.

Love this! Angel is one I need to revisit.

@boomguy and I'm blushing. Thanks. Archangel is a beast. I was not expecting to love him as much as I do. He is just always, busy.

Ha X23 sidekick is a bit TOO good. This one is fun!

Dec 31, 2024 Dayspring · 159

@Pickles thanks! And I agree. X-23 sidekick decks make all scenarios feel the same because you just crush them. Which is its own kind of fun. Great to have around in multiplayer if you are playing a risky deck.

@Dayspring this is the one I had run. It's been a few months since I played it. I didn't run suit up but running that with clarity is awesome. Mine was more just buff psylocke and use readies, I'd probably add in leadership skill if I were to make changes to mine. Take advantage of the multi ready turns

@Castlefrank47 these are similar! Ready to rumble is a great one for Angel. I keep meaning to try it, but always forget to add it.
