Krakoa Spoiler Ahead
Colossus is a member of the quiet council of Krakoa, the main political organisation of the nation. This deck will let you handle political crisis with Crisis Interdiction.
Play 3 Council members
Clearly that's not enough thwarting on your own but you will get the help of your fellow Quiet Council members Storm and Shadowcat. Game Time and Mission Training will help you make the best of their abilities. Most support will help you get them out faster. Your alter ego response should always be used to shuffle Shadowcat if she is in your discard pile. If the villain does not interact much with allies or cards, you can remove X-Men Instruction, Cerebro and Blindfold from the deck. They are mostly here to let get allies faster if they got defeated/discarded.
A traitor in the council
Big spoiler ahead : Colossus has been for a very long time mind controlled by Russia. YOU are actually the cause of the crisis ! Play One Way or Another to stab your entire team in the back.... Just kidding, you can actually handle those side schemes efficiently by actually not handling them.
Search a crisis icon and ignore it
The best target for One Way or Another is a side scheme with a crisis icon, you can just leave it around for a while and directly thwart the main scheme with Shadowcat and Crisis Interdiction. Vigilante Training will help you make sure you have access to enough copies of Crisis Interdiction. But you might want to defeat those schemes at some point cause they often have a cool "when defeated" effect like rescuing an ally or healing a senator.
Search for multiple acceleration icon and ignore them
If you managed to set up Jessica Jones as an Honorary X-Men with Mission Training and Game Time, you can start grabbing crisis icons, she will just compensate them. Obviously if you go for that strategy, you must get rid of crisis icons at this point. Storm will help you move threats from dangerous scheme (hazard or boost) to the acceleration schemes. Those schemes usually have bad "when defeated" effects. So just don't defeat them. You may also use Storm in some scenarios very early to move threats to a permanent side scheme like zero tolerance.
Ressource
The deck does not have ressource cards. As the justice player at the table, you can just use Colossus' attack cards as ressources, and he has a lot of those. Once you have set up your allies you will get to attack with everyone. Focus on threat removal first.
Multiplayer recommended.
Playing this deck with a leadership player will make it much better. Not only can he buff the thwart of your allies, he can also give you Uncanny X-Men.
