Honed Phoenix

This deck brings a lot of villain control with Drop Kick and Psychic Assault and the good old Professor X.

With so many cards having either the Psionic or X-Men traits, Team-Building Exercise is a must.

The deck has a lot of punch thanks to Honed Technique, which it can be easily triggered thanks to The X-Jet or the Psionic Bond Phoenix ability. Your Clobber will hit for 5 damage potentially for only 1 resource. For 2 resources Psychic Assault will deal 5 damage and confuse the enemy; and for 1 resource Press the Advantage will deal 3 damage and draw a card.

To play in solo, it is better to play in Restrained form and use Phoenix amazing 3 Thwart, which thanks to Utopia allows you to remove 6 threat in one round.

In your starting hand you want to see White Hot Room, since you want to flip often between alter-ego and hero, which you can easily do thanks to the 3 copies of Psychic Assault, and the Professor X and Psylocke allies. Nevertheless, other equally good cards to have in your starting hand are Team-Building Exercise or The X-Jet.

In multiplayer you may want to swap a couple of cards (1 Drop Kick and 1 Clobber may be) for two copies of Dive Bomb, which you can play once you have Phoenix Suit for 3 resources thanks to Team-Building Exercise. Dive bomb with Honed is insane, you will deal 11 damge to the Villain and 5 damage to each other minion in play...
