This is a deck based on ideas from @Didacles and @Jiistme in response to my not-very-legal Captain Marvel deck Cosmic Energy. In that deck I was using Adam Warlock to heal himself and other allies which (as anyone who actually reads the cards or the rules of the game should know) isn't legal, because he can only heal identities.
In this version I am pairing Adam with Spider-Woman. With his help, she can absorb everything the villain can throw at her, whilst her Double Agent ability lets her field Med Team to keep Adam (and Captain Marvel) in play permanently.
The rest of the deck is really about readying effects so that when we have boosted Spider-Woman's THW or ATK about to 3 or 4 (which we can easily do with Morale Boost and Leading Blow) we can get a much use of that boosted stat as possible. I did consider adding Ever Vigilant for even more readying, but as you can only play it after Self-Propelled Glide I decided it was not going to be reliable enough (and also you'd have activated twice at lower ATK/THW unless you played another green card earlier in the phase).
Used it once against Tower Defence. I think it's OK, but I'm putting it here mainly so that @Didacles and @Jiistme can continue to criticise and improve my deck building.

Sep 02, 2021Thanks for taking the time to look I don't think there are issues with thwarting against most scenarios. Spider Woman can thwart for 3-4, often twice due to Self-Propelled Glide and Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Your advice about Med Team is probably worth taking though. |

At this point and without having tried it, all I can see are 'personal preferences': would remove Muster Courage and The Night Nurse, maybe for another Med Team and a Perseverance, or a couple of Bait and Switch (as you are healing a lot but may have issues with thwarting).
For minion control I prefer Squirrel Girl rather than the younger Hawkeye, but it largely depends on the villain you are playing (Hawkeye gives more mileage to Earth's Mightiest Heroes)
It does sound less spectacular than the 'illegal' Cpt Marvel, but seems solid enough for me.
