First build after playing Aggression Thor out of the box.

Thor feels a little slow when trying to get him to aggro all of the time. So I think Protection gives him a more balanced approach that allows him to use the hammer to build his engine rather than fighting.

Odinson uses the hammer as a resource for most of the early game to build his engine up. The only time I would consider putting on the table is if you have a Hammer Throw ready to go.

While in Thor mode, Counter-Punch and Preemptive Strike will be his bread and butter most of the game with big flashily moments with the hammer only going off when needed.

Once Thor is built, then Second Wind keeps him in the fight for the rest of the game.

When Dr. Strange's pack comes out it give a few more solid options in protection for Thor that include card draw and improved defense that ready him.
