So after playing an unbelievable amount of Donino this is what i believe to be her smoothest running build.

yes. 3 copies of Sharpshooter and X-Force Recruit. heres why:

Sharpshooter is critical early to 1:increase damage and 2:burn the deck to feed The Painted Lady.

X-Force Recruit needs to go on Diamondback - this is right up there with getting Domino's Pistols in play - the AoE is just too good. having 4 healing cards with 3x First Aids & Luck Be a Lady provides plenty of opportunities to heal Diamondback back up.

First Aid also helps with Psylocke alot to squeeze out a few more thwarts for 2 if you don't need to get a confuse right now.

you want Atlas Bear and Diamondback to get in play and stay in play.

you're likely not going to be playing Firepower until late in the first deck pass or not until the 2nd pass because you'll want both Domino's Pistols and Sharpshooter in play before you play it.

same with Directed Force - you need Domino's Pistols to use it so there's only two copies with 2nd deck pass plays in mind when the deck will already be thinned out.

If the stars align you'll be able to get in some magical (and safe) Alter-Ego turns with confuses from Professor X and Psylocke

There are no Double Resources for a reason.

Digging Deep replaces them and the ability to recur Jackpot! replaces them. it's better to have the play options and draw into what you need faster - almost the same rationale as the 40 card deck - We've substituted doubles with Digging Deep and Atlas Bear become hybrid pseudo-doubles and Avengers Mansions - they also synergize with each other to avoid the catastrophic swapping of a Digging Deep for another Digging Deep
