Don't touch Luke or Hulk ANGRY!
The main objective of this deck is get attacked again and again and again to get lots of Rage Counters on Hulk! Then, when you will have enough counters, Hulk will SMASH! Twice if you have Harlem's Hero in hand during your turn!
In protection, there are many cards that make the villain attacking you:
- Bait and Switch will help you managing threats on the main scheme
- Get Behind Me! will help you discarding a nasty treachery in exchange of villain's attack
- Taunt will help you get more resources!
So, during the same turn, you can possibly get:
- 2 counters thanks to Bait and Switch & Taunt
- 1 counter from the villain activation
- 1 from Get Behind Me!
And since in lots of villain encouter set you have other activation, your rage counters can grow quite fast!
In order to have the most Tough cards in Luke Cage, play 2 copies of Toughen Up! So when you will not have any tough cards and at least 6HP, when changing to AE, you will get:
- 2 Tough from Burstein Process
- 2 from both Toughen Up
- 1 bonus if you have Hidden Base.
While you are in AE, if you want to stay in that form, your beloved wife Jessica Jones will help you managing threats on the main scheme. If not, she will help you with side schemes!. Med Team will also let you keep Jessica Jones longer in play.
And when you turn will end, you can go back to hero form thanks to Ready for a Fight
Metal Bracer combined with Energy Barrier will help you defeating minions. This association lets you keep a Metal Bracer available if there are minions with 1ATK.
Also, with Hard Knocks, you will be able to defeat minions AND get another Tough!
In multiplayer, Fogwell's Gym will also help you readying. Defending for other players will help you get more rage counters on Hulk.
Finally, when Hulk will get mad enough, you could potentially kill Stage II/III in one turn thanks to Harlem's Hero!
This deck may be not the most efficient, and if Hulk is at the end of the deck, it could take quite some time, but to me it was fun to play!
