We are here for BIG DAMAGE!
Nick is here and he's ready to bring the pain. You want to get minions in front of you and manage threat with Looking for Trouble, then get big value from those minions with "Bring It!" and Man on the Wall, before finishing things off with Relentless Assault and Firepower.
Relentless Assault combos well with Nick due to the overkill, meaning you can boost the damage with your Assault form before popping back to Stealth to stay safe. You can spread damage around as needed with Firepower, which you can also boost with your Assault form, meaning that each instance of damage can add up to 6, for a total of 18. Don't want to clear out the minions? Just go face with the full 18.
Surprise Attack is a great card for Nick, since you can attack (with a basic attack or event) to flip yourself into Assault form, and then play Surprise Attack to deal 4 damage and boost it with your suit form. 1 cost attack event for 7 damage? YES PLEASE.
- Martial Prowess is here to help us hit the kickers for Relentless Assault and Surprise Attack, and to pay for Firepower.
- Allies are all here for the S.H.I.E.L.D. theme, but are useful in their own right.
- S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm can be played on yourself, along with Jarnbjorn, and you can give other sidearms to your allies.
- Aggressive Stance and Practiced Plan lean into some of the Preparation stuff that Nick wants to run, and with the ability to summon minions, Aggressive Stance means you can get the attack event that you want when you engage a minion.
- Keep Up the Pressure is perfect for when you need a big push on the villain, so plan ahead and let the table rain death and destruction upon your enemies!

Apr 07, 2026Made this after listening to the episode: marvelcdb.com Already had one other themed Nick Fury deck: marvelcdb.com |
Apr 08, 2026You really missed the opportunity to make this a 50 card deck, for the real Big Deck Energy. But here is my Nick deck. It’s an oldie, but a goodie. I’ve thought about improving it since the last time I was running AoS, but I think it’s almost perfect. The Man with the Plan And like VJakson mentioned, Nick can make any card good. Take Pulse Grenade for example. It’s such a strong card when paired with Global Logistics. It is an attack that doesn’t require you to exhaust, letting you maximize the Assault Form before flipping back to Stealth. |
