This deck was built for episode 92 of the Winning Hand Podcast, check out the Boomguy's deck here: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/60986/psionic-grit-episode-92-1.0

Normally, I'll test my decks before posting, but this one is completely untested as of now. This deck is intended for higher player counts, which I can't playtest on the fly. I'll update if I get around to playing it

Extra-Credit Karma

Mind control minions with Karma, then drop them when they break like Andy drops Woody in Toy Story. Discard Karma to shuffle her back into the deck with Betsey's alter ego ability, and get her back with Cerebro whenever a shiny new minion toy shows up.

Karma must stay in play for you to keep that minion under control. That means two of your ally slots are used up. For this reason, we don't want too many other allies. While she's in play, she usually just wastes that ally slot. She has 1 hp, 0 ATK, 0 THW. So why not actually put her to work? I'm running Serve and Protect which can exhaust her and an X-Force character to prevent threat and give both characters a tough card. You can use Psylocke herself as the X-Force character, but there's also Angel and I've included Elixir as well. Warpath or Siryn are potential alternatives here, but I like the idea of using Elixer to heal some damage, potentially healing the mind controlled minion to get an extra attack in.

Outside of this Karma/ Serve and Protect base, I went with something a bit unusual for me with Psylocke. We will be basic defending a lot, to then use Counter-Punch with 2 Katanas, or True Grit with 2 Knives out. Symbiote Suit is here to bump it up to 4 damage or 4 Thwart, and you can get one up to 5 with Specialized Training. Indomitable and Martial Arts Training let you ready after defending.

Ready for a Fight is really nice with Psylocke. She can pay the requirement with her Katanas, and she really wants to go to alter ego for her 6 hand size. It also lets you access all of the defense events even when you flip down.

The only thing I'm not to crazy about is if you want to both serve and protect and recur Karma, its basically a 3 turn loop. Turn 1 S&P, turn 2 bock with tough, turn 3 chump block. I may add Hangar Bay here to cut that down to 2 turns, and also make it easier to block with the X-force ally too.

Nice catch with Serve and Protect!
