This is meant as a deck to manage minions on the table:
- Use Pinned Down to negate their attacks.
- Iceman stuns minions when they enter play.
- Any really bad minion can be turned to your side with Karma and Mind Control.
- In a pinch, you could even use Mental Paralysis to lock a minion down.
- Psychic Misdirection can make the villain attack the minions on the table that aren't taken care of.
You can do other things on your turn with Ever Vigilant, so you can use your beefy 3 THW/ATK stat to do other things.
Defending can often yield three additional cards through Psychic Misdirection, Unflappable, and Change of Fortune.
And when you defend, True Grit helps remove threat.

Nooo. I wanted to make a phoenix deck for the episode, bit now....
