--------------- Introduction ---------------
This deck is part of a series of Current environment decks of the Core Set heroes that I intend to continuously update as new expansions are released and as legality in the Current environment rotates. No matter when you come upon this deck, it will be upgraded with the latest and greatest Current environment cards and will only contain cards from packs that you can (hopefully) still find in stock.

Decks in this series are built to be strong and consistent, but wherever possible, card choices are made to provide satisfying mechanical or thematic interactions with the hero. If you are someone who enjoyed playing Black Panther in the Core Set, I hope you'll enjoy upgrading him with my suggestions!

--------------- Update 0: 12/29/2025 ---------------
Current Environment: [Age of Apocalypse --> Civil War]

Like She-Hulk and Spider-Man with Ready for a Fight, the first Current Environment may be the golden age for Black Panther with access to the Dora Milaje package, Heart of the Panther team-up card, and Firepower.

The Dora Milaje support (discounted, of course) plus a single Dora Milaje ally - Ayo, Aneka, or Okoye - adds up to a powerful battery providing 3-ish points of attack or thwarting value every turn. Having a second Dora Milaje ally in play allows them to start triggering each other's special abilities, increasing the value even higher.

Firepower is perfect for T'Challa since his signature upgrades Energy Daggers and Panther Claws don't need to exhaust for any other purpose. Exhausting these two weapons alone is powerful enough, but I've also included one S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm to enable a potential 9-damage Firepower. Unfortunately we can't equip the Sidearm directly to Black Panther, but we can easily get it into play with Deathlok or by attaching it to Mockingbird or Winter Soldier. Keep Up the Pressure also combos with Firepower to help draw it when the time is right, and the attack buff that comes with it pumps it to a maximum of 12 total damage! Perfect for clearing a board full of minions or delivering a final blow to the villain.

Heart of the Panther is insanely powerful, but needs Shuri to be in play. Try to prioritize Shuri if you draw her early in the game since it unlocks this powerful play later on.

Build Support is a T'Challa staple to find The Golden City, one of the best cards in the game. If you draw the City early, just play it since it's so strong, and get Helicarrier whenever you eventually finish Build Support. Don't get Dora Milaje since it's so cheap to play from hand, unless there's no other option.

Aggressive Conditioning - I mean...he's on the art!

Face the Past grabs Killmonger. Pretty even on value, but could tee up a Winter Soldier or Chase Them Down trigger.

Chase Them Down and Relentless Assault round things out as staples, but these spots are flexible depending on your preferences. I considered One by One, "Bring It!", or Clobber for these spots as well.
