One problem I found with Quicksilver is that i feel powerless if I can't get Friction Resistance and some games I won't draw it until turn 4-5 some games.

The aim of this deck is to solve that problem by getting Friction Resistance out by turn 2 at the latest.

By using Hope Summers we get grab Friction Resistance as it is a superpower card, this gives us consistency in getting the upgrade on the table.

Mulligan Priorities:

  • If Friction Resistance is in your opening hand, well done you hit the jackpot. if Friction Resistance does enter your hand during mulligan then play normally otherwise:
  • On first draw if Hope Summers enters hand keep her and mulligan the other 5 cards for a double resource and if you're lucky you can draw 2 doubles.
  • If you get Suit up on first draw and no hope summers, mulligan other 5 cards for Hope Summers.

Once Friction Resistance is in your hand just hold it for turn 2 and stay in alter-ego for turn 2. Once Friction Resistance is on the table we can start building allies and our upgrades to boost our stats and also draw us cards with Strength In Numbers and also have a target for Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Sidekick is not a priority to get on the table as Side-by-Side is quite expensive but can be good on turns in the late game for the extra stat boost.

I really like this, and I'm going to try playing it! I never thought to use Side-by-Side as a stat boost for Quicksilver... it's not as efficient as Maximum Velocity, but it doesn't have to be that efficient to be good.

I love Hope Summers in this deck because of how flexible she is... At the beginning she can grab Friction Resistance (which is, of course, the preferred play). But in the mid-game she can grab any of your stat boosting upgrades (Accelerated Reflex, Reinforced Sinew, or Hyper Perception). And in the late game she can grab Maximum Velocity or Always Be Running. There's never a time that she doesn't tutor the right card.

I'm wondering if there's a place for Med Lab here? It could be used to recur Hope "As if from your hand".

Also I think when I build this I'm going to try to find a way to include Specialized Training and Call for Backup.

@Footballcoach, I like the idea, you might have to cut some cards though as you really want the 40 card deck to increase the chance of a turn 1 Friction Resistance. You could maybe cut Side-by-Side and Sidekick to include them? Would be interested to see how quick you could build his upgrades with the Med Lab.
