This is a "toolbox" of a leadership deck which usually has multiple options to solve problems it presents.
I should say I'm a solo standard player, so I haven't tested this against harder scenarios or in multiplayer. But it handled standard Kang without issue, On the Run with Harpoon as the villain, some version of the Thunderbolts (I forget who was in there), Thanos, Tower Defense, and The Hood stacked with a bunch of beefy minion sets like Iron Spider's Sinister Six and Crossfire's Crew.
End goal is to have economy set up, then be 1) summoning minions for various benefit and 2) play allies to assist Thor mostly in defense and thwarting, sometimes attack. Thor himself handles most of the attacking via his events and identity.
Initially the deck was built for Squared Off, but if I am honest, that is probably the least-played card in the deck when I use it now.
Economy: prioritize this first, mulligan for Asgard or For Asgard! which can be used to fish out Asgard and then play it turn 1 (even if you end up not being able to play Mjolnir on turn 1). Then try to 2 or 3 resource generators up and running ASAP. You have two copies of God of Thunder, 1 Quincarrier, 1 Deft Focus. So it is a deck that wants to set up.
The Bifrost can fish out Hugin & Munin, Lady Sif, or Beta Ray Bill but only if they are in your deck (not discard pile). It's not a mandatory card to play, but when it is in play your toolbox options are increased a lot. Sif can ready Thor to allow another attack, clearing a stun, or a recover. The birds can do the same thing, and potentially ready another ally you have on the table. Beta Ray does what he says he does. Other allies in this deck are in there because there aren't that many Asgard allies available! But they are just solid allies. They help ping off Toughs, defend cheaply, thwart, etc.
Having all those extra traits on allies also enables Strength in Diversity. This was not in the first version of this deck, but I included it as I realized I did not have enough thwarting power, and boy am I glad I did. This card is amazing. Thor himself has 3 traits so at minimum it's a flexible 2-cost card for 3 thwart, or some damage at need. I regularly activate this card when there are 5 traits on the table, and you can get as many as 7 in this lineup (Thor + Kid Omega make 5, then add 2 more allies such as Ironheart and Maria Hill).
Hope it works for you!
