"Welcome Aboard", Gamora has taken control of the Guardians, she got some familiar faces and a couple new recruits.

She's taken a page out of our favorite Trash Panda's book and has outfitted the team with more Firepower. Rocket is a very happy ally, we've got a Laser Blaster and Sidearm for everyone! Along with a Reinforced Suit to keep them around longer. The Guardians of the Galaxy are here and they mean business.

Gamora's Endurance and Conditioning Room will have us in shape to blast villains and minions alike all day long.

Keys to being a good leader:

Show your Sword, use your sword! Every attack event deals an extra damage to an enemy once we've got it.

Everyone should have a weapon! Put you should get paid for it!

Give your direct reports a laser blaster and a sidearm, draw from our wonderful support Guardians of the Galaxy. Then use Firepower to deal even more damage!

Use your Keen Instincts to see obstacles and deal with them.

Groot is our tank, give him a Reinforced Suit and let him block some attacks. Use Firepower on his weapons to sti get some damage out of him.

Rocket Raccoon is a Swiss army knife. He can thwart for us or with his new weapons dispatch minions with the best of them.

Drax is our destroyer. Give him some weapons and he can decimate the big bad.

Yondu doesn't take damage for attacking so load him up and go to town!

Multitasking is key to being a successful leader and critical to our success as a unit!

Speaking of multitasking, all of our weapons can be exhausted from Firepower but we still get the benefits for using them with basic activations. Drax can attack for up to 5, Yondu for 3, Rocket up to 6 on a minion with overkill.

1 Firepower can be 10 damage and 1 threat removal with 3 weapons on board and the sword in place.

Other Considerations:

For Justice! is really solid but I preferred keeping the cost low with multitasking to play multiple events per turn. For scenarios with heavy threat it's a good swap.

Concussive Blow is great but I opted for more threat removal. Against steadywart this may be a better option.

Team Training is great for keeping allies on board longer but Reinforced Suit gives card draw from Guardians so I felt it synergized better.

Overall, I've really enjoyed this deck and it's performed extremely well in 2-handed and solo. I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!

This is super clever and I love it. I have been thinking of going back to Gamora recently and this might do it!

Man, great use of laser blasters and firepower!!! Gamora now showing up in Leadership

@boomguy thank you sir, I hadn't played her in awhile myself. Ton of fun, firepower is so good for her. I did this in Aggression and Justice with her also and both worked well but Leadership was the most fun of the 3 in my opinion.

@andyr thank you sir! I really like her in leadership, you end up with less events than other aspects but you can play her a little bit different using welcome aboard to bring allies along

Love this! Gamora is my favorite. Any reason Knowhere was left out?

Jun 28, 2025 Goatzilla · 388

Love it! I agree with @InigoMontoya that Knowhere would be a great addition. I will definitely give this deck a try!

@InigoMontoya @Goatzilla

thanks you! Knowhere could definitely be beneficial, I left it out because of space. Since the idea is to keep allies out for as long as possible and not chump or recur them I opted not to have it. Endurance could be cut to add it or just going up to 43 probably wouldn't hurt.

This looks like a blast! Get it?

Putting this at the top of my list to give a run!

@N1GHTCRAW73R it took laser focus for me to get that one.

Hope it goes well for you!

Got my play in. Took out En Sabah Nur on expert without batting an eye. Threw in Hellfire to switch it up.I was able to rush through the second stage without worrying about anything else. VERY FUN!

`@Castlefrank47 Loved this deck. Sped through Rhino with Clown Gang modular—clean, fast, satisfying. However, in my true solo runs, I hit repeated dead turns from ally droughts. Hands packed with Sidearms and Laser Blasters, but Allies to hold them. Watching those go to discard without value hurts. Any tip on minimizing that outcome besides "Don't Suck"?

Jul 02, 2025 Castlefrank47 · 6036

@elderpapagaio thanks for checking it out in glad it went well!

As far as solutions I would say that you could sub in Call for Backup over Superpower Training or just add it in to give another option.

You could also add Make the Call to grab an ally from discard and maybe drop a weapon or 2.

The other option would be to add in another ally or 2 like Martinex or maybe even Star-Lord.
