Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, and his best friend Bucky Barnes, aka Winter Soldier, were recruited and trained by Nick Fury. Trained under Nick Fury Sr., the best agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., who also provided them with top-tier equipment (S.H.I.E.L.D. Deputy one for each of them, Sidearm for Winter Soldier, War Room), our two friends relentlessly hunted down Hydra agents together as Super-Soldier.
While on a mission to stop Red Skull, Bucky disappears. Steve Rogers, though alone, manages to fight Red Skull but loses his life in the process—or so believes Nick Fury Sr., who finds no trace of his second soldier. Thinking both of his best men are dead, Nick Fury Sr. trains his son Nick Fury., who eventually becomes director of S.H.I.E.L.D.
As Nick Fury. works on the Avenger Project, discovers that Hydra has infiltrated his agency, and sees it decimated by a mysterious Russian super-soldier, he decides to search for Steve. Using the Quincarrier’s advanced technology, he locates Steve and brings him aboard the Helicarrier to be treated at the Avengers Mansion.
Awakened after seventy years of hibernation, Steve Rogers joins the Avenger Project (Honorary Avenger, stronger than ever thanks to the Avengers’ technology. After finding Bucky and discovering that the mysterious Russian spy-soldier is none other than his old friend (Man on the Wall status), Fury and Steve manage to bring Winter Soldier into the Avengers team (Honorary Avenger—though he must undergo regular treatment (First Aid to prevent reverting to an enemy agent.
Reunited, the two friends, along with the rest of the team, receive enhancements : S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm for Winter Soldier, Specialized Training for our Captain America and Build Support. Due to a new imminent threat, Fury calls upon the X-Men (Professor X, Psylocke and Sunfire).
