Colossus Gets Really Tough

Next Evolution really gave us two ridiculously good protection heroes in Shadowcat and Colossus; but both excel in different ways.

Colossus loves being tough and flipping. This deck aims to maximise both; with Ready for a Fight being a great card for this alongside Armor Up. You really do want to be flipping a lot to recur Armor Up; getting to the larger hand size and using Piotr's Studio to get a 7 card hand.

Most of your allies bring some toughness to the equation. Hope Summers can be used to fish for whichever superpower you're missing (Iron Will and Titanium Muscles as priority) and is then a great target for Serve and Protect alongside any other X-Men you have out (or friends do as it is an alliance card). Warpath is in as he is tough, can activate Serve and Protect but is also fun for playing "Come Get Me, Bub!" in the villain phase.

Mutant Protectors is there in a pinch to bring out one of your allies.

I nearly always run Stepford Cuckoos in an X-Men themed deck - it's too useful not to.

Between Unflappable,Organic Steel Iron Will; you'll be drawing plenty too.

Astonishing X-Men and Establish Perimeter are great for nullifying whole villain activation phases; and are quite cheap to thwart to enable Anticipated Attack.

Tested this deck against expert Zemo and kept the whole table safe with little worry. Attack for 5 with a double boost? This toughy sure don't care!
