The goal of this deck is to make Hawkeye a more viable hero. His arrow events are great but can only be played about twice a turn. The amount of readies in this deck from Desperate Defense, What Doesn't Kill Me, Indomitableand Earth's Mightiest Heroes is to make sure we can keep Hawkeye alive through defending and then still being able to ready in the hero phase to either thwart, attack, or ready his bow for another arrow event.

An alternative to some of the cards in this deck is to remove Bladeand a copy of Earth's Mightiest Heroes to throw in some Hard to Ignore or remove a couple of What Doesn't Kill Me because we can keep Hawkeye healthy.
