In aggression, Magik can get Cosmo to a base attack of seven. That's cool and all, but then Cosmo is only getting one activation per round. In this leadership deck, Cosmo gets to a base ATK of five and a base THW of four. However, mix in some Command Team and sprinkle in a little Get Ready, and you have a lean, mean, attacking (or thwarting) machine.
I don't like throwing everything into one ally, since you never know when that ally is going to be on the bottom of the deck, so we also have Yondu & Blade around to buff up while you wait for Cosmo to make an appearance.
One of Magik's weaknesses is how mushy she can be. One too many villain activations can wipe her out, so I've also included Pixie as a means to recur Colossus to frequently block for Magik.

Summoning Spell would likely work better than Pixie. In my most recent iteration of this deck, I replaced Pixie with White Fox for more discard shenanigans, so Summoning Spell would trigger that as well. |
The name of this deck is hilarious.
Do you find that Band Together works well here? At a glance, it doesn’t look to me like enough allies are in here to keep it consistent. It’s also worth noting that Magik can already recur Colossus three times with Stepping Disc. Since Pixie also pulls from discard, I would probably put Summoning Spell in instead so you can pull Cosmo or Colossus from deeper in your deck.
I love buffing honorary X-men like this. I did the same thing with Magik, just buffing Hulk and She-Hulk in aggression. It’s so fun.
