So I'm not entirely sure how good this deck is, but after 5 or 6 tries I was able to beat Loki, so I figured I must be doing something right.
The plan revolves around relying on Spectrums kit to deal damage and having the Justice card to help when the scheme ramps to much, if we need to flip to Alter Ego for a bit. Some stun and confuse to delay the Infinity Gauntlet a bit of we need a breather. This is the first real deck I've built myself, and I had a limited card pool, but hopefully there's something good here.
Hi @ZanyLlama, congratulations on your first deck.
In my experience Spectrum can be a bit tricky (or luck-dependent) because you need the right card in your hand to change form, especially when playing solo as you can't really predict whether you will need to thwart, attack, or both each turn depending on what the encounter deck throws at you.
All the cards that let you change form are Spectrum's own hero cards, so you want the rest of the deck to get out of the way of them. Choose as many supports and upgrades as practicable, because they stay in play and leave your deck as heavy with Spectrum events as it can be. Think about the cards that increase your hand size (in Justice, One Way or Another is good for Spectrum as she can thwart very powerfully). Choose the allies that let you draw more cards (you've got Nick Fury who is great, Ironheart is another staple. Assess the Situation never goes wrong.
You've got some good flexible allies here who can thwart or attack a bit if Spectrum is stuck in the wrong form. You could consider leaning more into allies with Avengers Tower or Team-Building Exercise to get them out more cheaply.
Hope any of that helps. When you have the right cards in hand and you're constantly changing energy form Spectrum is great fun. When you are stuck in Pulsar and staring at a hand of energy cards not so much...
