In his alter ego art he is in the pool so...

Here is Iceman in the pool aspect.

Deck summary WINTERY

What an ICE day to get in the pool

Iceman has some really COOL cards in his deck, but often he doesn't have the COLD hard cash to pay for his events. It's also SNOW good when you can't get a Frostbite out because you've lost your basic activ-ICE-ion or have a stunned stat-ICE card.

I've found having a lot of SLEET-source generators is important to afford the identity events SNOW SHOWER Belt can pay for nearly all of Iceman's cards, and Deft Foc-ICE can hit a lot of them as well. Team-CHILLing Exercise hits all of the Ice and X-Men traited cards. And The ICE-Jet is good for anything. SuperPOLAR Training and BERG Support can help you find these cards early, and can be cleared with one Chill Out! In solo.

Flip down frequently while setting up and depend on your Frostbites to prevent a bit of threat.

inGLAICiate yourself with your friends

This deck is X-Men heavy both because we want U-SNOW-pia going off as much as.possible, and because X-Men has really good allies. You've probably played with these allies before, so let's just call out the new ones. Snow Clone is cheap and Ice traited, a great way to get some damage and a block. They are also a good target for Get FROST-y, since they can avoid consequential damage a lot of the time. SHIVERcat has some situational uses for her after you play ability, but is also good value for the stats. Beak (of a PENGUIN) is crazy good value for removing threat and being a blocker.

shouldn't you bring SNOWsHelf resources in a pool deck?

Not much costs more than 2 in this deck, and we have a LOT of things that generate 1 resources, so the self resources from Pool didn't really work. We are running a lot of basic cards though, so we bring The SNOW SHOWER in All of Us.

I fell down (while snowboarding) how do I stand back up???

Ice man really wants to be ready so he can put Frostbite on enemies and draw a card with Cryokinetic Perception. In expert or on a villain with exhaust effects, it's a good idea to basic defend to trigger cryo asap so you don't lose the draw from an encounter card or boost effect.

Stun is also annoying to deal with. We need ways to I unexhaust.

Stick-To-ItivenICE is absolutely wonderful. Get it down as soon as you can. If you have The ICE-Jet you can guarantee a ready from it.

SpecialICEd Training is another way to get value from those readies. Combat SLUSH-ialist or DeFREEZE Specialist are good choices depending on villain.

SNOWing in for the kill CHILL

Once you have some economy going (you don't need every piece) you can try to get down Ice Slide and use Healing FLURRIES to keep healthy enough that you don't need to flip down anymore. Blackout DUE TO A POWER OUTAGE FROM COLD WEATHER PROBABLY is a good resource sink if you have too much to spend. And Not my ResponsHAILbility is a nice way to prevent threat when you're safe on health.

Dear God what have I done

I'm so sorry about this deck writeup. I've gone mad. Thanks to the Iceman channel on the discord and Journeyman2 for the advice on the X-Men backbone for this deck. There's really not much to crazy in here, just needed and excuse to make terrible ice puns.

ICE OF YOU ALL TO DROP BY! BYE-BICE!

The ice puns deserve all the stars alone. Not to mention that this looks like a kick@$$ deck!

Ice came. Ice saw. Ice favorited.

The write up alone is more painful than any case of frostbite. I think I might have to amputate you from our friendship over it.

Hah. nICE deck!
