Cards like Forge, Phoenix, and the side schemes all help get those upgrades and supports out as soon as possible. Card draw is very helpful so I added Avengers Mansion and Mission Leader. Cyclops and his gang of X-Men are great thwarters, so you shouldn't have any problem flipping down to Alter-Ego. Once you're all set up, use Phoenix to keep Full Blast coming back to your hand as much as possible.
I often throw in a copy of Honorary X-Men when playing certain scenarios to make sure I don't lose the benefit of Uncanny X-Men. This deck has dominated solo Mutant Genesis campaign in standard and expert, and it still performs great in multi-player.
