Thor Aggression - True Solo

This deck is designed to take on expert scenarios in true solo.

You will never truly stabilise, just hold off the scenario long enough to finish off the villain.

The aim is to set up as fast as possible, using Thor's card draw (from engaging minions) to gain resources and place down upgrades asap. "Late" game involves using 0-cost cards to for benefit to bring minions into play and finish off many at onces with a Lightning Strike. Priority goes to dealing with anything that will add threat to the main scheme, as your ability to thwart is limited.

When playing Thor it's very important to remember his Alter Ego action to search for Mjolnir, allowing you to use it for a resource in a pinch (or on the first turn).

The Bifrost is a very strong card in this deck, specifically in conjunction with Angela. Exhausting Bifrost will let you find Angela (if she is in your deck), giving you an Ally and drawing you 2 cards. Throg is there as a backup choice, though you can also get Lady Sif (not recommended). Wherever possible, try to get Angela and Throg into your discard pile before it shuffles, repeated use of Bifrost is key to giving yourself extra time.

Due to the number of cards you will be drawing, sequencing can be particularly difficult and/or punishing. Many cards require minions in play, so be extra mindful of this when planning a turn.

This deck is the current iteration of the deck I have been playing since Thor first came out. With Thor I have beaten all Villains on Expert up to, and including, The Hood.
