You pay every turn 1 resource for loses icon? In theory this is bad. But sometimes you want to pay this tax to avoid bigger threats. I'm really interesting how it works in GMW campaign, where there are campaign cards with more icons (especially on expert)

I can see this being considered in a protection archangel deck (especially if that deck is packing symbiote suit). This essentially becomes trading 1 resource to cancel the acceleration icon on archangel.

That seems not ideal, you'd be paying 1 resource to thwart 1 every turn. That would be the same as playing Emergency, one of the worst cards in the game, every turn. — Jvenom23 · 73
This card is effective when on the there is more than 1 icon OR is a enocunter card. Usually it cost 2ER, so in summary this is plus very fast.in GWM campaign Ronin alone got 3 cards with minimum 2 icons on card — nosiak · 292
