Apr 08, 2021I personally found it a little bit tough - part of my strategy for this one was to go one way or the other, but a lot of it depended on what came up (which probably isn't too helpful). Trying to set up BP sometime helped, but you're constantly under pressure from attack or threat. Plus staying in alter-ego for stage II Kang just didn't seem long enough... I found Fighting Fit really useful to get some health down, plus some of the allies too. Fighting fit in stage III was extremely useful for the nemesis. A lot of it was gut feeling I'm afraid though... |
Apr 08, 2021Right, so a bit of hoping that the timing of extra attacks synergizes well with stuns or having disposable allies around once BP was already tapped. The guaranteed killmonger during stage 3 adds to the Black Panther difficulty and also makes Wasp more appealing. Of note Fighting Fit can only target the villain, so not sure if you played that correctly. |
Apr 08, 2021Ah good point - that can’t have been it then. I can’t remember what I did, but killmonger wasn’t a problem. Combo of allies, momentum shift, BP’s basic. There wasn’t a rush to get Kang’s Dominion down so it was just chipping at KM. Saving iron fist for the turn into stage 3 was useful |
I've been struggling a bit with decks that split my strategy between stun effects (Mockingbird, Iron Fist, Never Back Down) and ones that want the enemy to attack so that you can benefit from defense effects (Electrostatic Armor, Unflappable, etc). How did you find that your deck dealt with that?
