This deck is inspired by Paging Captain Danvers.

The idea is similar to that deck, but with a few twists:

1) Captain Marvel makes this deck great, but you don't have to mulligan to get to her. Ronin and the other protection upgrades make this deck viable until you pull her.

2) This deck is also built around upping Spider-Woman's defense to 4. Each round you'll get at least two aspect cards to play. Defending each round, then using Desperate Defense, Never Back Down, Indomitable to ready yourself plus trigger Unflappable to draw more cards.

3) Don't be afraid of the 50 cards in the deck. Spider-Woman is made to have as many aspect cards as possible to play. With all the low cost Teamwork and Protection cards here, you'll always have Spider-Woman at least 3 attack, 3 thwart and 3 defense every round. That makes Self-Propelled Glide, Desperate Defense, and Indomitable so much more valuable.

Here's your priorities:

1) Captain Marvel - but don't mulligan for her. You'll spin through your deck way too fast, and it's not necessary to win. Once you have her, get her the 5 upgrades (Inspired, Power Gloves, Reinforced Suit, Sky Cycle, Honorary Avenger). She'll give 2 cards per round, and 6 thwart or 8 damage per round.

2) Unflappable and raising Spider-Woman's defense to 4. Along with Armored Vest, you'll want Electrostatic Armor to get that 1 damage on whoever attacks you. Once you can defend, and not take damage, you'll trigger Unflappable Desperate Defense and Never Back Downhelp here.

3) Med Team and The Night Nurse- you'll need them to heal your allies. Keep in mind that Inspiring Presence, Honorary Avenger and United We Stand can also do this. Get both instances of Finesse up to feed your aspect machine.

4) Ronin and his upgrades. Once fully setup, he'll have 6 HP, 4 attack, 3 thwart and 1 damage for shedding Tough status cards.

Once this is all set up, you'll be drawing three extra cards per round, readying half the time, and taking hardly any damage. The turns where you stun the villain, find a way to defend anyway with a minion or villain attack on another player. It'll get you an Unflappable card, and do one damage from Electrostatic Armor.

I'm undefeated with this deck so far. I've beaten Expert Klaw and Expert Rhino solo. I've won in two player games against Expert Crossbones and Expert Zola.
