IM Protection build, to take on Expert Absorbing Man with Bomb Scare. Champions solo league Season 4, round 5.

Mar 04, 2021 Stretch22 · 759 Nice. I'm a fan of the Tech upgrades that Iron Man gets to play in Protection, and the combos like Nova. Are you worried about scheme control though? I wouldn't want to flip to hero too early without a bunch of upgrades built up, and Protection is notoriously light on threat removal options.
Mar 04, 2021 Frozen_Dice · 26 It's a good question. I'll be digging hard for Arc Reactor and the Helmet. I plan to have up to three turns to stay in Alter-Ego mode to build the suit. If I'm able to get those two upgrades in place by then, clearing 5 threat per turn can clear up the threat very quickly. Ideally, I'd also have a few additional tech upgrades in place to allow for card draw, which means I can stay in hero mode for the rest of the game. We will see!
