Adapted from Hitbutton's incredible Zero to Hero, in no time flat!, this deck's primary goal is to shore off some of that deck's shortcomings when playing solo, as well as running some newer cards that help round out Herc.

In general, I noticed that Herc's two biggest risks when playing on True Solo were:

  1. Getting the Hydra Labor first with no good targets: Later on, beating the Lernean Hydra is a cakewalk, but if you're facing it on your first turn without upgrades and/or readies, it can be a huge challenge.
  2. Threat: The original deck kinda left threat management to your teammates. If you're playing solo, you don't have as much leeway.
  3. Allies: A bit like the previous point, the previous deck had 3 allies (I usually treat Amadeus Cho more like a support than an Ally), which is low for most True Solo play. This deck covers all these bases.

First, the Hydra. I was hard-mulliganning for Aggressive Conditioning or Combat Tranining until Jessica Jones came around with the perfect Herc card: Innate Aggression. Starting with an attack of 4 will shore you off in 2 out of your 3 labors. Then, mulligan for one of your 7 readies. With an effective starting hand of 5, you have an 89.85% chance of starting with an upgrade and a ready (or 76.64% if you don't count Son of Zeus. That sets you up for a clear on turn 2 on 2 of your 3 labors.

Second, threat. Sentry, Star-Lord, Professor X, Yellow Jacket, and Gilgamesh all have heavy thwarting. They're specially useful in solo play as they can get that extra block when needed, and can help you build up fast or take a break by confusing the Villain. Even Gilgamesh's confuse is not particularly bad for you once you have the Nemean Lion Skin in play. This also ties onto the third concern, as they're more on the expensive side. Later onto the game, you can combo Olympus with Avengers Compound to keep your engine producing instead of stalling.

All in all, I've found this deck to be pretty powerful and fun. I'd consider dropping Hall of Heroes for Symbiote Suit if you're feeling spicy, as I feel that with Prince of Power I wasn't flipping down often. Something important to keep in mind is that, in a lot of games, you'll either lose quickly or win quickly, but that just means you can try again soon enough.
