Nick Fury - Undercover Ops

Nick Fury doesn't simply remove threat.

He uses it.

This deck is built around Fury's two Suit Forms, moving between Stealth and Assault while Justice gives him precise control over the battlefield.

Stay Undercover

In Stealth, enemy attacks become schemes instead.

As long as the suit has fewer than 5 threat, that threat can be placed on Stealth rather than the main scheme.

Nick can even load the suit himself. After a basic thwart, Gather Intel places another threat on his Suit Form.

Threat isn't always a problem.

Sometimes it's ammunition.

Break Cover

The moment Nick attacks, Break Cover forces him into Assault.

Now the threat stored on his suit becomes damage.

When Nick attacks in Assault, remove up to 3 threat from the suit to deal that much additional indirect damage.

Gather intelligence.

Store it.

Then weaponize it.

Infiltration

Infiltration gives Nick exactly the kind of control he wants.

Choose how deep you're willing to go into the encounter deck and remove threat for every card discarded.

You might uncover a minion along the way.

Occupational hazard.

Control the Main Scheme

The Justice package is designed to repeatedly drive the main scheme to zero.

Covert Surveillance, Making an Entrance and Nick's own thwarting tools keep threat under control.

Once the main scheme is empty, the deck changes gears.

Turn the Tide converts successful thwarting into damage, while Pivotal Moment becomes an extremely efficient 5-damage attack.

Nick doesn't just stop the villain's plan.

He creates an opening.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Intelligence

Nick brings a compact team of agents including Agent Coulson, Maria Hill, Melinda May, Nick Fury Sr., Quake and White Fox.

Meanwhile, Safe House #221, The Raft, Helicarrier, Fury's Watch, Eyepatch Camera and the rest of his equipment provide the intelligence network behind the operation.

This isn't an army.

It's an agency.

Stealth to Assault

The rhythm of the deck is simple:

Control the schemes.

Load the Stealth suit.

Clear the main scheme.

Break cover.

Hit hard.

Then disappear and start gathering intelligence again.

Nick Fury doesn't react to the battlefield. He decides when the battlefield changes.
