Quicksilver's greatest strength isn't simply having good stats. It's being able to use those stats again, and again, and again.
This deck is built around that idea. Morale Boost, Moxie and Maximum Velocity increase Pietro's basic powers, turning every additional ready into another opportunity to exploit those boosted stats.
Always Be Running provides Quicksilver's natural supply of readies, while Earth's Mightiest Heroes turns his Avengers allies into even more activations. In this deck, an ally doesn't need to attack or thwart to contribute — sometimes exhausting them to let Pietro act again is worth far more.
You Got This! takes that philosophy even further. After Pietro makes a basic attack or thwart, an ally can be discarded to add its matching power to his own for that activation — and then Pietro immediately readies. Wonder Man is particularly effective here: his 3 ATK can become a massive boost without ever paying the additional cost normally required for him to attack.
The allies therefore serve multiple purposes. They can provide their normal value, fuel Earth's Mightiest Heroes, or eventually be converted into one final burst of speed with You Got This!
Once Pietro's stats are boosted, the deck becomes a chain of increasingly efficient activations. Attack. Ready. Thwart. Ready. Boost a stat. Ready again.
Quicksilver doesn't need one enormous attack.
He just needs you to lose count of how many times he has already moved.
