This deck leans into Luke's thick skin. Protection affords him additional ways to grab Tough statuses, and makes excellent use of the new Echo ally. When set up, Echo is able to stop attacks for 3-5 damage without taking any damage herself.
Meanwhile, Luke's bracers allow him to shrug off minions and watch them succomb to retaliate/electrostatic damage, triggering Change of Fortune and keeping the gravy train rolling.
The deck is built to drop into alter-ego and heal/trigger Burstein Process and Toughen Up to keep his tough statuses at around 5 for maximum mileage. Once set up, he can block for the entire team while chipping at thwart and damage.
*This deck is self sufficient, but slow out the gate. It is best paired with a deck that can push moderate or more thwart from turn 1. Not designed for solo-play. I would drop Avengers Mansion and some of the other slower cards for solo play.
