Uncanny Avengers

Cable initially planned to return to the future, but his time-sliding device malfunctioned, forcing him to stay grounded in the present day. He served as the heavy hitter and tactical planner for Unity Division, otherwise known as the Uncanny Avengers!

Use Soldier X to put Technovirus Purge in play so that Cable can get his psionic trait sooner than later. This allows him to leverage Psychic Kicker to ready and boost the output of his Avengers team. Call for Aid brings them to hand. Flip down to alter-ego, possibly with Bodyslide, to put them into play by discarding Recruitment Drive.

The ally roster is based on those Avengers featured in the 2016 comics run. Avengers Tower allows them all to be in play at once. Greymalkin reliably provides the energy resource to power up Vision. Black Panther holds a copy of Mission Planning to prevent consequential damage when a copy or two of Psychic Kicker are in hand. Thor helps clear side schemes to exhaust Mission Leader for card draw.

Rally the Troops and Render Medical Aid help heal these allies to keep them in the fight. Call for Backup is an additional way to bring in Black Panther to recur a Leadership event. It's also a cost-effective way to call Captain America.
