This deck focuses on turning Doctor Strange into a resilient frontline protector who can defend the team while still contributing strong utility and control. By combining the Protection aspect with Strange’s powerful Invocation Deck, the build allows him to absorb enemy attacks, prevent damage to allies, and maintain board stability without sacrificing his spellcasting potential.

The core strategy revolves around keeping Doctor Strange ready to defend repeatedly while using protection events and upgrades to mitigate or prevent damage. Cards that trigger when defending or that reduce incoming damage make Strange extremely difficult to take down. Meanwhile, his Cloak of Levitation allows him to ready after defending, letting him still use basic actions or cast invocations afterward.

Because the Invocation Deck already provides strong offensive and control tools—such as stunning enemies, dealing burst damage, and manipulating the battlefield—this Protection build does not need to focus heavily on damage cards. Instead, it emphasizes survivability, threat management, and protecting teammates in multiplayer games.

The deck excels in longer scenarios where controlling the villain’s tempo is key. Doctor Strange can consistently defend attacks, heal or prevent damage, and then rely on his invocations to deliver powerful effects each round. This makes the deck particularly strong in cooperative play, where Strange acts as both a magical support and a durable defender.

Overall, Doctor Strange Protection is a highly reliable and flexible deck that balances defense, control, and magical utility—allowing the Sorcerer Supreme to keep the team safe while bending reality to his will.
